These resources are targeted specifically at career practitioners. They describe programs that can be used by practitioners in career development programs. Information on standards for practitioners can be found in the Government Departments and Standards page.

CB education

  • Careers Education Quality Frameworkpdf This audit is a useful starting point to map your current services and practices to quality standards.
  • The Real Game series is a career exploration program that helps students understand their future working life and gives them skills to explore how they can function successfully in it.
  • The Australian Blueprint for Career Development (ABCD) provides a framework from which to build a career development program. This is a federal government initiative (this is not to be confused with The Blueprint, which is a state government initiative).
  • MyFuture is a complete career development website that provides the latest information on career choice, skills, fast facts on labour market, jobs growth, job profiles and personal interest inventory
  • The Job Guide is a book produced each year for Year 10 students to assist with career development programs
  • The Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre is a one stop application process into higher education, TAFE and independent Tertiary colleges
  • On Track is a Victorian Government initiative that tracks the progress of exiting students for five years. The data from this initiative can be used in desitnation studies.
  • safe@work is a health and safety resource package for secondary school students who undertake workplace learning programs.
