CEAV Bookroom Help
The CEAV Bookroom is the CEAV's online store. From this online store customers can:
- Purchase books and resources
- Pay for membership (coming soon)
- Register and pay for CEAV events
The bookroom webpage can be found at this link: http://www.ceav.vic.edu.au/bookroom. This page is the catalogue overview page, it presents the product categories of the bookroom. At present there are only two categories; CEAV produced resource and Textbooks (in the future we will be adding Memberships and Event Registration to the catalogue).
Click on the category name to go to a list of all products in that category. On this page you will see a list of all products for that category. Next to each product will be it's price a box to specify quantity and an 'Add to Cart' button. You can click on the product name to go to that product's page. On that page you can find a description of the product as well as a bigger image.
To purchase an item click on the 'Add to Cart' button for that item. The item and the quantity specified will be added to your cart. You will then be taken to your cart to view the items currently in your cart. You can remove items from the cart by ticking the box on the left of the item and clicking on 'Update'.
Once you have finished shopping click on the 'Proceed to Checkout button'. Fill out the checkout form then click 'Review Order'. Click 'Submit' to finally submit your order. Once you have submitted your order an invoice will be emailed to you.
Payment Methods
There are four methods by which a customer of the bookroom can make a payment:
- Cheque or money order
- Bank Transfer (EFT)
- Postal Order
- Credit Card or Online Payment
You will be presented with a choice of payment method at checkout.
Be aware that products may not be shipped until payment is received.
To pay via cheque or money order send your cheque or money order to address provided on your invoice.
The account details for EFT payments are provided on the invoice.
To pay via credit card or online go to the website specified on either the invoice or on the order completion page. This website will require you to enter in your invoice number (located underneath the logo) to begin the payment process.
Tracking my orders
Members of the CEAV are able to view and track the status of their orders online.
To access this functionality log then go into 'My Account' and click on the link that says 'Click here to view your order history' (it will be up the top by default). From here you will be able to see your current and past orders.
