Government Departments
The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) is the Victorian State Government department of education. It provides a comprehensive career education program for Year 7 to 10 Career and Transition Lesson Programme, Work Experience and Structured Worplace Learning programme, safe@work online OH&S resources and support lessons.
The Department of Education Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) is the federal government department that manages career development initatives and resources. It provides extensive resources on policy and program publications for career development in secondary schools
Industry Bodies
- The Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA). The Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA) is the national peak body for career practitioner organisations in Australia, representing national, state and territory career practitioner organisations. This website provides information on the professional standards for career practitioners and other CICA resources.
- International Centre for Career Development and Public Policy. This website includes resources concerning the international symposiums on career development and public policy.
