Member Logins Now Available

CB computerOver the long weekend usernames and passwords were sent to all registered members of the CEAV via registered emails. You can use these to log into the website and access the members-only features of the site.

One of the first things we would like you to do after you have logged in and changed your password is to check and update your member profile. You will find your member profile by clicking on My Account in the Site Contents menu (it is the item second from the top). Once you are in your member profile you will see a link at the top that says Edit, clicking on this will allow you to edit your profile and contact information. Your account information is organised under five categories (which are listed as links under the Edit link):

  • Account (you can change your username, email address and password)
  • Contact Information
  • Membership Information ("School or Organisation" is located here)
  • Regional Groups
  • My Newsletters

Start by checking and filling out the information in the Membership Information section, then fill in Contact Information, Regional Groups and My Newsletters.

Now that we have a member login we now have the facilities to distribute The ECHO, the CEAV e-news, directly to our members. If you wish to receive The ECHO you must subscribe to the newsletter. The option to subscribe is under the My Newsletters link.

Note: If your organisation is not a school but it says that you have a School Membership type be aware that this is not a mistake but is reflective of how the CEAV's database is currently structured. At present the CEAV only has two categories or types of memberships. School Memberships and Lifetime Memberships. Anyone who is not in the Lifetime Membership category is placed in the School Membership category, regardless of whether they are a school or another type of organisation. We will be expanding our categories as the year progresses to be reflective of all our members. Please be patient, by 2010 all members will be identified by the correct category.

Having problems logging in with your username and password? Send a detailed email to website@ceav.vic.edu.au and we will fix the problem.
