CEAV is the Victorian peak body for secondary school career practitioners, work experience coordinators, VET coordinators and MIPS coordinators. We welcome new members and contact with business, industry, and the education and training sector. www.ceav.vic.edu.au

The CEAV is a founding member of the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA). CICA is the national peak industry body for the career industry. Information on the work of CICA can be found at their website www.cica.org.au.

In 2011 CEAV Inc established CEAV Training as it was realised that there was strong demand for formal qualifications in the career industry driven by the CICA Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners.

Training

We have two qualifications:

Both of these courses are taught through a mixed mode delivery model. This means that the majority of the qualification is online with some face to face delivery.  We use a range of technology such as the Learning Management System (Moodle) and Webinars to enable self-paced collaborative learning.

Workshop Attendance

We believe that the units of competency relating to career interviewing and career counselling skills are best delivered in face to face workshops and assessed in a simulated workplace environment.  So if you are an interstate or regional candidate, please realise that you will be expected to attend some workshops in Melbourne.
