What makes the CEAV Conference different?

The CEAV’s Biennial Conference helps to inform and improve careers service and career education programs.

This year’s conference is focused on providing practical workshops, industry seminars and talks, as well as an informative career education exhibition. The conference will allow attendees to build their working knowledge of what constitutes quality career development services for young people between the ages of 12 to 24 years.

The conference provides extensive networking opportunities and gives delegates the opportunity to share ideas and resources.

The 2019 CEAV Conference program provides continuing professional development hours for career practitioners. These are mapped to the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA), Australian Professional Standards for Career Development Practitioners and the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) continuing teacher registration.

This year local experts will help career practitioners upskill with a focus on the 2019 theme, Good Careers Practice in Schools: Joining the Dots.

The conference will provide 12 hours of CPD for delegates and offer an extensive range of interactive Master classes and Tech Labs where delegates can improve their working knowledge of specialised competencies in their field of practice.

Who will attend the Conference?

The conference is attended by people from the following groups:
