Students and teachers will meet at a central Melbourne ACCOR Hotel.
Groups will be accompanied by a CEAV staff member who will act as a chaperone for the day.

This industry immersion experience will offer students and teachers the opportunity to go behind the scenes at one of Accor's Melbourne Hotels to get a real world taste of life working in the Visitor Economy Industry.
Activities students and teachers may participate in on the day include:
- A Hotel introduction and overview of the business including and the range of careers on offer in the industry.
- A tour of the front end of the hotel and back of house.
- Itinerary planning and anticipating guests needs with concierge staff.
- Restaurant and bar service including setting up for an event.
- Kitchen lunch preparation lead by Head Chef (students will prepare their own lunch!)
- VIP guest service including preparing and delivering amenities.
- Room set up and preparation with Housekeeping staff.

What happens on the day?
- Schools will arrive at their designated hotel and be met by a CEAV staff member.
- Students and teachers will participate in activities until lunch time. Lunch will be provided at each hotel.
- Students and teachers will regroup around 2:30pm (to be negotiated on booking) and return to school.
Students will receive:
- An Industry Immersion pack including a student workbook with activities linked to the Victorian curriculum.
- Lunch provided by their designated hotel.
Teachers will receive:
- An Industry Immersion pack including a teaching resource workbook with lesson plans linked to the Victorian curriculum.
- Lunch provided by their designated hotel.
- Funded transport to and from the Industry Immersion Experience venue
- CRT for all teachers attending the excursion.
**Details regarding reimbursement arrangements for travel and CRT costs will be forwarded once registration has been completed.
